4. Rides

Your Trip Status is important to the IRS. This organization wants to know exactly what you have driven for business and private purposes. Cartracker logs this automatically, but it may happen that you want to change your trip from business to private or vice versa. You can also split or combine your trips with a private or business trip mode.

View your rides in the portal - separately or from the entire day

Within the Cartracker portal you can review your or the fleet's trips. Even of a specific day! We explain here how to do that.

1. Go to our portal (not our app)
2. Click on the vehicle in the main menu
3. Select the vehicle and click on overview
4. Want to see the route of a specific ride? Then click on the address of the specific ride
5. Want to see the route of the entire day? Then click on the orange bar / blue bar for ULU

Change drivers in the portal - Change trip mode of multiple trips

Wrong driver or trip mode (private - business)? No worries, you can easily change this in our portal!

1. Log in to your Cartracker / ULU Portal
2. Click on vehicles
3. Select overview at the vehicle you need
4. Select the rides you want to change(tip: click on the white space and hold down your left mouse button for 2-3 seconds)
5. Click on change trip type to change the trip mode (private to business or vice versa)
6. Select change driver to change the driver on the selected trips

Entering detour miles through the portal

1. Click on the vehicle icon in the main menu
2. Find your car and click on"overview"
3. Select the ride you want to change
4. In the third screen, click on"edit ride"

5. Change addresses and add notes for this ride
6. You can also change the ride to a combination ride - business and private
7. Did you change the ride? Then click on"update ride"

Making a note on your ride?

Do you just want to make a"note" on your ride? That's possible, handy for your timekeeping!

1. Click on the vehicle icon
2. Find your vehicle and select overview
3. Click on the ride you want to annotate
4. In the third screen, scroll down and click on the pencil‍.
5. Put your note in here and click update
